What a wonderful week we had on Hornby! We couldn't have been luckier with
the weather, of course, and Hornby was a jewel that just glistened in the
sunshine. As I wrote in your guest comments book, last year we fell in love
with Hornby and this year we fell in love with Purple Feet Retreat! Your place was wonderful: roomy and soothing, with classic Hornby funkiness. I loved your pottery Ekta! :) Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise!

We had such a wonderful time on Hornby. It really was heaven for us. Great weather, beautiful funky cozy home. We didn't want to leave! Everyone said we looked different when we returned, completely relaxed. My youngest daughter composed a song on the ride home to Seattle about Mother Nature, the trees, and how you could find her everywhere. She was truly inspired by it all. I can't thank you enough for opening up your home to us. I heard endless laughter from our family inside the walls of purplefeet! We will return and refer our friends there as well. Thank you again. Loved your
place! You have a great touch in creating a warm feeling in a place.
It felt like utilizing functional art. Esp. like the way that you brought
the outside in with the many and big windows...Loved the lot - the sort
of place one would be inclined to get up with the birds and put a bread
in the oven to be done in time for breakfast!

Ah, the peace of your
Hornby place. Staying there was a precious getaway and total rest and
yet, it was also a delight to forage out to walk the nearby shoreline
or walk or drive to partake of the excellent art and culture which is
rich on your island gave me a miraculous mix of the best of two worlds.

What I liked
about the place was its serenity. The house is very spacious and is interestingly
designed in an artistic way. Walking around the neighborhood was very
nice, too.
